The Night I Met a Monster
I carried three things with me that day. First, an iron coin. I wasn’t sure what the year was, or even the country of origin. The faces were worn nearly flat and there was only a hint of ridges on its circumference. I was told to punch a hole in it and wear it around my neck. And, so I did with a leather thong.

Watcher Chapter 3
The very next day Adley sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes sleepily. Her dreams were unbearable but she managed to sleep as much as she can. Stretching, she slid out of bed and slipped on her pink fuzzy slippers. The air felt a bit thick, as if someone was watching her. Perhaps misfortunes didn't happen in the day light. Maybe she was safe?

The Ballad of Eric Once Bitten
The Ballad of Eric Once Bitten We walked the same barren roads we’d been walking for years. The road and the few houses still standing never regained any of the colors they once had. The world still carried the dull grey tones from the war. It touched everything around us. Even the trees bore the scars of a more violent time.

Watcher Chapter 2
As much as she dreaded sleeping in the house, or in the room her father happily chose for her, Adley made her bed nervously. Every creaking sound or groaning sound the house made, caused Adley to jump out of her skin. She hated walking on egg shells, never knowing if when she turned around, something would be there... staring at her.

Awaken the Hydrogen Bomb
Aster's stomach coiled into an unbreakable twist of soft tissue and spilling acid. His weight broke the decaying leaves underneath his trembling feet. His legs were struggling to keep him on the right path, almost like the cartilage in his knees were sliding around in between his bones.

Who Are You?
At first it felt like nothing more than a rare phenomenon, maybe a slight obsession with the idea that something special was happening to me. I am unique, chosen perhaps. But it didn't take long for those thoughts to exit my mind the more she appeared to me. She has no name, no clear face, she barely even has a personality. She's just always there. The moment my head hits the pillow and the dream-filled slumber takes over, she's there. Waiting for me. Itching to bombard my mind with questions of why? Who are you? What do you want from me? Yet there is never an answer in sight.
