Get into the Halloween spirit; all about trick or treating, spooky costumes, Halloween decorations and haunted houses for October 31st and all year round.
The History of Halloween
Halloween has been around since ancient times. It all started with an ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, a celebration in which people would light large bonfires and wear an array of costumes to scare off ghosts and evil spirits. This festival marked the end of harvest season and the beginning of winter or "The Darker Half" of the year. This celebration usually went on from the October 21 till November 1. There were many festivals held like this one around Scotland at the time, some being even older than the Celtic festival of Samhain itself.

Horror Where I Live
Annyeonghaseyo! Hi! Hello! My name is Halli (pronounced Hayleigh) and I just recently moved into my uncles house that he has had since 2004. Before I moved in my uncles ex-wife and her grandson lived here with her grandson's girlfriend. Now little did I know that something horrible had gone on here, now when I tell this I am not joking nor am I looking for laughs.

Halloween
Ahh Halloween, the one holiday where we go against what our parents teach us and take candy from strangers in the middle of the night. But most importantly, you get to dress up in silly costumes, and no one can judge you. I personally had quite the fun costumes. I was Snow White, homemade Super Why made with green swim goggles, and a witch three years in a row. Then I was a vampire, Katniss Everdeen, and some biker chick from a Disney movie. I also wore an all black angel outfit and went as a fallen angel. Then I was a zombie bride and finally, last year and this year I’m going as a unicorn. It’s the best costume because I literally get to wear a onesie all night. So as you can see, I had quite the collection of Halloween costumes.

Ramblings About the Holiday Season
I think I will start writing about the holiday season, see it is been a while since I have written so I am a little rusty. I mean, look at that first sentence, how sloppy is that? Several months ago I could have written that a lot better, but the only way to regain my “writers flow” is to jump right back into the swing of things and to start from the beginning.

Halloween Shopping
I love Halloween! For me it’s more than just once a year. I LIVE for Halloween. However, being in the UK, us Halloween enthusiasts can find it pretty difficult to find good quality & decently priced items especially as we like to keep them out all year round!

Halloween Villains Explained Part 1
"Ave Satanas." Anyone keeping up with the newest season of American Horror Story will be very familiar with this phrase. Uttered by Damien, I mean Michael, at the conclusion of a steamy ritualistic scene in the third episode, the audience finally hears someone hailing the dark lord for the first time in the show’s run (minus the bogus line dropped in the trailers leading up to the season’s premier).
