Monolith 2
The monolith had always stood there. When the heavens and earth formed, it was already there. As soon as there was light, the first thing illuminated was the monolith. When the continents began slowly sliding apart from each other, they slid around the black stone monolith.

Monolith
I think on some level, I knew I was dreaming when I first dreamt of the monolith. But it doesn’t matter because the dream pointed me towards something true. In the garden of Eden, the tree of forbidden fruit gave Adam and Eve knowledge of both good and evil. My monolith was like that. It was a duality that was simultaneously both real and not real. A paradox that has mystified me for over half a century as only a recurrent dream can.

To Dance With the FaeFolk
It must be another full moon, new moon, equinox, birth, death, successful bowel movement, or any given Tuesday’s witching hour. They’re in the Faerie Ring. Again. They’ll go to the Faerie for anything. It’s like catnip to cats for them. They can’t get enough!

Mixed & Matched
Triggers: death, ghosts, blood, implied violence and sickness, accidental misgendering of a non-binary character. Mitch’s answer to “what the hell happened here?” was a sheepish, “We acquired a wedding dress this afternoon.” And that was enough of an explanation, I didn’t need anything else, but I still asked, “Oh, did we now?” because I was feeling frustrated and I wanted to make him feel guilty. Judging by the way his shoulders slumped, it worked very well.

The Crying Baby
I am a 21-year-old man, but I've had a lot of creepy instances happen to me in my life. Whenever I'm alone, I always seem to be scared of something, sometimes I can't sleep at night just because of one thing that happened to me when I was just a child. These stories might seem unbelievable to most people but everything I'm about to tell is true.

Landscape
Night was falling and the landscape remained unchanged. Before her she saw nothing but rocks and hills, mountains of forbidden terrain she was warned not to venture into, but her curiosities knew no bounds. It was local legend, the mountains that swallowed hikers. She just had to check it out for herself, it seemed so ridiculous.
