lgbtq
The letters LGBTQ are just another way of saying that Love is Love.
Pick One
It seems in recent months, more and more people of this generation are coming out of the closet with gusto and confidence in terms of their sexuality, gender, etc. And that's fantastic! Knowing that members of the LGBTQA+ and their allies can find community almost everywhere is a great relief.

Discovering My Gender Fluid Identity
When a person is trying to discover themself, they are trying to find something solid. A single word to describe themselves. When it comes to being gender fluid, it’s like trying to find a puzzle piece that keeps changing shape.

Why I Won't Be Telling My Parents I'm Bisexual Until I Date a Girl
I had happily settled into university life and, as it was only first year, was out partying 2 or 3 times a week. My flatmate had met a girl on her course, we’ll call her K, and had been on a night out with her. K had ended up coming back to our flat and staying the night to save her from walking back across campus to her own hall. So, when we had our hungover post night out debrief in the morning, K was still there laughing and complaining along with the rest of us. My friend was completely oblivious to the fact she’d just shared her bed with a lesbian overnight, had no problem with it, but was slightly surprised when the rest of us told her afterwards.

That Kid
I never thought I’d be that kid. From the time I was little, I was told by my nana and my mother who I was going to be. How I was going to marry a rich man and have kids with successful careers, as architects or cardiologists. I was supposedly in love with my karate partner Andrew. They thought he was the ideal man for me. He was smart, cute, strong, the “whole package,” as my nana would say.

Jack Winston's Party
I'm not much of a party-person, but this party invitation read the one name that gave my heart this sort of rush that made me receive the need to go. "Jack Winston's Summer Party 2018"—my eyes skimmed across the invitation. Jack is known to throw some insane parties, and I've gotten the invitations over the years because he invites our whole grade level.

The Right Person Will Come Along When You Least Expect It
I was feeling troubled in the relationship department, and feeling like my world was coming to an end because my friends were dating and I wasn't. I had started to have feelings many years before that I might like girls, but was confused on my feelings and was really trying to figure myself out. I was fighting with my identity and was scared to let anyone know for fear of rejection. I had crushes on a couple of girls here and there but none of them had ever turned into more than a crush. Every day I would dream of the day that I would meet someone who would love me for me. I had a guy friend who was in the same boat that I was in and we were both searching for our true selves.
