Mayday Mayday: A Community Garden Mural Beckons Your Spiritual Consideration
Good morning, Vocal Media and spiritual seekers, this is your Monday Morning Huddle for May 5, 2025! Today's inspiration comes from a mural in my local community garden. I was out early this morning walking toward a different location I had set in mind when the mural photographed above jumped out at me, beckoning my immediate attention. The Lost Art of Listening
Hello? Is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me Is there anyone at home? — Comfortably Numb, Pink Floyd Pink Floyd's lyrics from Comfortably Numb echo a familiar frustration: Do you ever feel like people are not really listening when you talk to them, whether in person or on the phone? Plenty of times, I have been chatting on the phone with one of my children or a friend. They had called me, and after we shared a little tidbit of back-and-forth conversation, I am met with complete and utter silence.
