Easter is a Family Affair
At the time of publishing, Easter is just over two weeks away (the approval process for Vocal can take longer than expected). It is a time that is synonymous with religion, chocolate and for me, family. It is a bank holiday weekend in the United Kingdom and I am looking forward to having a long weekend away from work (between the 13th and 18th of April).

And the Oscar for Jealous Husband Goes to Will Smith
Reality is always messy, ripe with conflict, unsettled resentment, and bittersweet redemption. Ironically, the compelling filmmaking ingredients necessary to make it to the Oscars were the ones Smith²-Rock delivered during the 94th Academy Awards. Watching the incident was like seeing all of what the world has known as jovial and light-hearted entering reality’s no man’s land. Not sure if we should be thanking the Academy for this one.

Staying in the Closet
Stuff is stuff. Every time I walk through a thrift store I am reminded of how quickly things go from must-haves to must-nots. This is especially true of clothes. You’ll find racks of discarded shoes, handbags worn but not worn out, and dresses guilty only of the crime of outlasting their peak of stylishness.

The Jealous Girlfriend
Every time I think of trying to describe the sensation of relationship jealousy, my mind automatically goes to the scene from Twilight when Edward is trying to explain how Bella’s smell shoots a sharp pain in his throat akin to a branding iron. I’d say that jealousy is a similar feeling, only it’s located in the chest. It comes on quickly and makes you feel it all over your chest, and especially close to your heart. It’s frequently matched by an equally painful throat closure and the feeling that your stomach is dropping, like you’re on a massive rollercoaster. In other words, it’s a mixture of anger and fear.
