Self help, because you are your greatest asset.
Balancing Hustle & Play
In a world full of fast-paced technology and the instant glorification of being constantly on the go, it is counter cultural when we actually implement balance over constant hustle. It not only leaves us anxious to always find something to do, but also leaves us empty when we find ourselves falling short at the end of the day. We are now to overwork ourselves to keep up with the pressures of meeting deadlines that we have created and that culture has pushed us to fulfill. Constant hustling is glorified, but do we ever stop to think about what it does to our beings—physical body, soul, and spirit?

Letter to Self
February 22, 2019 Dear Younger Self, You may not know who I am yet, but you will in a few years if you don’t take this advice to heart. Life can give you trials and challenges and if you don’t go through them the right way, you can end up in a place that doesn’t have a happy ending. So please, I beg of you, don’t be stubborn right now. Just put down your wall and listen to the advice I have for you. This will help you so much in the future if you take what I have to say to heart.

How Young Are You?
How young are you? No really. How young are you? Notice I'm being very intentional with my words. Often we say, "I am ____ years old" but how often do we call ourselves young? While driving one of my passengers for Uber, they introduced me to a wonderful philosophy. The idea is that we are all young. We are young if we want to be, choose to be, and believe we are.

Writings from Experience
1. When he was 5-months-old, his hands reached for the toy above him. The whale spinning around seemed to fascinate him, but not as much as the puffy yellow star right next to it. He giggled with glee as “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” played along with the moving carousel.

What I Obtained from Being a Part of a LinkedIn Movement
I was born an individual mostly known as a misunderstood rarity the world spewed out—wise beyond my years and an oddball where my generation is concerned. Everyone yearns to be a success and leave a legacy though many have an interesting view of how they are obtaining it and their personal description of it. Mine stems from how I was raised—the child of an immigrant family; the hardworking and centered head on a youth’s body and the learned helplessness the education system provided. Caught in between this bittersweet spectrum was where a diamond was destined to meld into something greater; something that promotes independence and a doorway for others to step through. The path that added to the present growth is LinkedIn with all her children gifting and receiving knowledge and one way I put my growth to the test was through the "Random Act Movement.” These newfound relationships might’ve been started digitally but the experience was entirely human.

Karma and the Prayer Hack!
Growing up in India, talk of Karma was all around me. "You reap what you sow,” I would hear people say. I grew into adulthood believing that I needed to do good deeds to get good results later in my life. It was like a carrot and stick—“you better do good deeds or God/Universe is going to get you."

10 Steps to Remind Yourself It's Just a Bad Day
We've all been there. You wake up and can just tell, "Today is NOT going to be my day." As the day goes on, you're constantly reminded of that idea you had as soon as you woke up, and it just seems like nothing else can go wrong. Finally, you get home, and you rehash the details of your day. This is when it becomes important to remember one very important fact: It was just a bad day, not a bad life.
