30 Journal Entries to Self Discovery - Day 7
HAPPY ONE WEEK!! Thank you again, to everyone following along. Or even if it's your first day jumping in to read, thank you. This first week has been more than I thought it would. I'm actually surprised at how much I've truly enjoyed this. I also thought I would've given up by now because, honestly, I usually do. This really isn't my type of thing. However, I haven't and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I'm also having a lot of fun reading the few messages I've gotten from people following along. Thank you again and keep writing! Here's my quote for the day: "Writing is like driving at night in the fog. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way." —E.L. Doctorow

Evening Thoughts
Sometimes I wonder what w'ere all doing here. We are just placed on this earth. Some of us have more freedom than others. Some of us born into rich families, others born into poor. Growing up and being in the real adult world can be shocking and exhausting. Sometimes even humanity surprises me and I don't think I can take it anymore, whereas other times I can be purely inspired by stories and kindness seen from people. Life and career just seems like a rollercoaster, all the time. Sometimes when it actually feels good and happy, something backfires only to reveal that it was too good to be true. What is the point? I don't get it.

Stepping out in Confidence
August 18, 2018, the day I hosted my first event, "Stepping out in Confidence." The event was my way to reach others and help them live the life they wanted and deserved, but it didn't occur to me until the day of the event that I was taking one of the biggest steps in my own life as well.

30 Journal Entries for Self Discovery - Day 1
I have seen a lot of people doing journal entries to help with self-love or self-discovery. Obviously, most people keep these private because they are a personal journey. I belong to a few writing communities and I've seen people rave about how awesome they are. I asked a lot of my writer/ journal keeping friends which one they followed, and I think I have it narrowed down to the one, in my opinion, will actually teach me to learn about myself a little more. Instead of keeping a secret journal entry and all that, I decided to make it public and answer a question a day as a 'journal entry,' and give my ideas on how each question helps us with self-love. This is my first entry. You can follow along and do it with me or just judge me if you want. Please keep in mind these are my personal journal entries, I'm just trying to give out as much of an idea of what I think of these prompts. I don't want people to think I'm writing one sentence and then judging the questions based off of my no-effort answer, which is part of the reason I'm making it public. Thanks for following along. Remember "There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed." - Earnest Hemmingway

The Art of Gratitude
Gratitude is something that many people fail to practice. Every day you can hear a glimpse of a conversation and hear someone complaining about some circumstance or another. Usually it is a small inconvenience upon their life. It is very easy to complain about every bad thing in life, but many people find it very difficult to be grateful for all the small things in life. There are so many people in this world that are worse off than you are right now. Even the fact that you have access to technology to read this article right now is something you probably took for granted. Everyone has something to be grateful for and many people forget to acknowledge all the good things in their life. People like to focus on the bad things; it is more interesting than the good things.

4 Simple Keys To Maintain Good Energy Today
Your mind, body, and soul are composed purely of energy. For this reason, what you feel translates into how you feel. And if you often feel sick, depressed, anxious, or afraid, your energy may be dispersed in too many directions, causing chaotic emotions and reactions.
