Born beneath a mother’s gaze
Where love was twisted, cold malaise
Her words were weapons, sweetly spun
A war was waged, though never won
She ran from chains and found new pain
A man whose fists fell like rain
Each dawn she woke with silent cries
But from that storm, she learned to rise
Then came charm with honeyed lies
A cheating heart in lover’s guise
She left him broken, left with grace
No longer bound to false embrace
Another came with bottle near
He drowned his love in shame and beer
She left again, a mother grown
A lion fierce, a force her own
Believed she found her promised peace
But monsters hide in golden fleece
His words cut deep, his truth was thin
He loved her not, but loved his sin
She tried once more, her faith intact
But pain returned, the same old act
Until at last, her tears ran dry
And strength took root where hope once died
Friends appeared when skies were fair
But vanished when she needed care
She learned that love, both rare and true
Is proved by what the heart will do
Now from the ashes, she’s reborn
No longer lost, no more forlorn
Her heart a phoenix, fierce and bright
She fills her world with her own light
Those who hurt her fade away
She walks in peace, her dawn, her day
And somewhere soft, the stars align
A gentle spark begins to shine
Not promised, rushed, or wrapped in need
But something quiet takes the lead
The kind of warmth that doesn’t claim
It simply stays, and speaks her name
For love must lift, not wound or chain
And she will never rise again.
