Saturn’s rings adorn my left hand, while in my right,

I have other planets rolling around

like marbles, and with a flick I wait for collisions,

every burst scattering stardust into

nebulas while new planets

come into being as if washed ashore by stars and

even the cow jumping over the moon stops in awe.

A cosmic dance of creation and destruction, where planets collide and stardust births new worlds, capturing wonder in every flick.

Congratulations on top story. This acrostic is absolutely beautiful. I am not on here much due to a very busy job, but I am so happy I had a chance to read your entry.

I love the imagery of Saturns rings being actual rings

  • So good! Loved every word! Amazing work as usual! 🩷

  • The cosmic imagery really evokes the majesty of silence. Referencing Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Chile", this could be "Cosmic Chile". We grew from chopping down mountains to playing with the stars. Well-wrought!
