Your love is like gazing on a lilac horizon,
when your life has been locked in darkness.
You’re that first breath of air,
when I come up from sinking.
When my blood runs cold,
you warm me with your luminosity.
I’ll love you for a thousand eternities,
until I’ve gone back to stardust.
And then I’ll wander constellations and galaxies,
nebulas and the Milky Way.
I’ll find your star and orbit you
for a thousand more eternities.

Who is your "Person"?
It's important to recognize that you cannot go through life as easily on your own. My name is Elizabeth and I'm a survivor of child abuse and horrific trauma. Healing from trauma is not a quick fix and recognizing that it will take time, is part of the struggle.
