I pray for her protection,
from the evil step mother of perfection,
that she would be convinced of her beauty,
even when the mean girls pass by and are snooty.
I pray that she will stand on the rock of assurance,
running the race of life with powerful endurance,
knowing that her Maker possesses the key of insurance,
all the while, clinging to His hope of such transference.
I pray that she will learn to be ever so discreet,
that she will tell pride when to step away and take a seat,
and that she will adhere to inner values that last,
so that she will not look back with regret on her past.

Who is your "Person"?
It's important to recognize that you cannot go through life as easily on your own. My name is Elizabeth and I'm a survivor of child abuse and horrific trauma. Healing from trauma is not a quick fix and recognizing that it will take time, is part of the struggle.
