Pressed Flower Decors
Creativity with flowers. Try it

I imagine a garden
I can afford seeds.
I order and receive,
soak them overnight,
sow them with hope,
transplant the seedlings.
Then they bloom.
I pick some of them,
dry them in heavy books
for months.
Then comes the time
to make crafts.
I put glue on cardboard,
and stick the flowers
aesthetically—
pansy, lavender, calendula,
mustard, cosmos, azalea,
and many more.
Pressed flower art
pieces ready.
I frame them,
hang on the wall.
That’s how I navigate
the satisfying journey
from seeds to décor.
I learned it’s called
Oshibana in Japanese—
a beautiful, creative way
to explore and express.
Try it and have fun!

What a great idea and beautiful poem to describe what and why you do.
