How Psychedelics changed my life. And how it may be able to change yours too?
A couple of years ago, I was so depressed I had ZERO energy, will, or desire for living. To make matters worse, I was in the middle of an existential crisis that lasted for some years, where I questioned everything about life, existence, the universe, and if I had any purpose in it, at all.

Tip Your Budtenders!
The value of a budtender: I’ve been having a lot of conversations lately about the role of budtenders. Especially the value they hold as in-the-know individuals. They’re the gatekeepers of the good good if you will. At the same time, as an ex-budtender myself and someone who’s actively looking to build a career for myself in the industry, I feel bad for budtenders.

Becoming An Electron; A Salvia Experience
Talking about some things is hard for my morally complex brain. I'd held the blame for everything most of my life, but too much of it was part of the reason it incapacitated me. Feeling like the worst person in the world. It's why I try to write only my story. I didn't blame anyone before, short of my bullies, and I'd only grow up with a multitude of more reasons not to. People hate the statement, but it really all is just what it is. I wouldn't want Juliet to read the story, for example, because I wouldn't have held onto it if I wanted her to have the blame in the first place. It's not going to do her any good.

The High School Green-out that Changed My Course. Top Story - September 2021.
January 12, 2009. The day of no return. The census was that if I smoked pot alone, I was addicted, so things only grew out of control. I was sharing it with everyone. Wasn't that one of the points of Marijuana? I wasn't keen on sharing my cigarettes.

Why Cannabis?
Why Cannabis? Aniyah O. Howard “We all have dreams. In order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort. This quote was said by Jesse Owens, the world record-setting Olympic athlete. An athlete that pushed against odds and injustices to create change. Change is never something that just happens, it is a process sprinkled with passion and determination. When I was younger, I always wanted to create change in my community. I wanted to provide more for minority communities that cultivated the person I am and exposed me to a different perspective of the world. Learning about the injustices that cripples the progression of communities of color, like mines, pushed me to dive into action. Being in front of the fight for change was were I started. Advocating for education reform, marching against police brutality and incarceration injustices, and endorsing community engagement with legislation. With my passion for change and equity, I have focused my activism in new direction.

Me, A Cannabis User. Top Story - April 2021.
I wanted to start by clarifying that this article wasn't initially going to be about cannabis. The more I think about that, I would probably be lying if I started things out that way, so I'm just going to not do that. It's kind of difficult to pin down exactly what this is about from the outset, actually. Even with a handy outline at the ready, it is far easier to let this become something more like a stream of consciousness than a rigid essay on the merits and risks of cannabis use. The thing is I kind of just want to start writing about pot. I already write about comic books as a day job, and the writing challenges on this platform have been a great way to get the creative juices flowing towards working on my own fiction again. But I could write so much more.
