History of LSD
“I feel like I’m part of a gathering of the most exquisite rascals of the age!” Ram Dass exclaimed at a colloquium in 1977 at the University of Santa Cruz entitled “LSD—A Generation Later,” featuring the man who discovered the king of the psychedelics himself, Dr. Albert Hofmann. With dozens of acid aficionados attending, it was the first time to get public record of the thoughts and feelings these masterminds had on what could be considered a miracle drug.

Do Stoners Make Better Students?
The effects of marijuana on grades? For the many years it has been reliably reported from scientist after scientist that marijuana has definite, and often dramatic effects on the thinking process. It may not be physically damaging, but can a student study economic theory through the plexiglass-solid high from sinsemilla buds? Maybe a zen master can, but aside from the raja yoga students and the other mind-control heavies, who's going to make it through organic chemistry when the hash hits town? The connection between marijuana use and poor school performance has always been assumed by most educators; chronic marijuana users all dropped out and became street sweepers. Isn't it obvious?

Peyote is the Original American Trip
Peyote, known botanically as Lophophora Williamaii, is the great American high. For the past almost 5,500 years, Native American tribes of the Plains such as the Navajo, Comanche, Sioux and Kiowa, have used the spineless, tufted, blue-green, button-shaped cactus as the centerpiece of enhancing their religious rituals. It is known for its psychoactive properties when ingested.

Famous Celebrities Who Smoke Weed
"Celebrities, they're just like us!” might be a cliche, but it is also true. Nothing connects celebrities to the common man more than smoking weed. Sure, smoking marijuana goes along with the "Hollywood" party lifestyle, but recently celebrities have come out in support of the herbs medical benefits, in addition to its recreational uses. With uptick in popularity of legalization, it’s not surprising that famous celebrities who smoke weed are no longer hiding their affection for the drug, but instead proclaiming it proudly.

What Are the Dangers of Synthetic Marijuana?
Imagine we could take a time machine back to before the political scene was so ridiculous. I'm not talking about a Trump and Clinton election, but rather the short-winded feud of the Obama/Romney election. Who could forget Romney? America's favorite handsome Republican nominee named after an important piece of baseball equipment. Romney, being the quintessential poster boy for American progress, had quite the stance on the evils of marijuana. In an attempt to argue against the advent of medical marijuana, Romney had only this to say: "People talk about medicinal marijuana. And you know, you hear that story that people who are sick need medicinal marijuana. "But marijuana is the entry drug for people trying to get kids hooked on drugs. I don't want medicinal marijuana; there are synthetic forms of marijuana that are available for people who need it for prescription. Don't open the doorway to medicinal marijuana."

Trippy Drugs of the Future
It is the future. Paul Reeves, twenty-eight, energetic, and successful, is the sales manager of a company that sells underwater real estate. He sits at his desk in his company’s offices in a steel-and-glass office park outside of Central Park, planning his day. On the walnut-veneered desk top, ready to be manipulated at finger-tip touch, are a computer and a TV-telephone console with worldwide communication facilities.

Weed and Sex
Everyone seems to be fascinated with drugs and sex. The reason for this insatiable curiosity is not hard to understand; both drugs and sex can be very powerful experiences, and curiosity is high when knowledge is low. This is why marijuana supporter Laurence O. McKinney covered the topic in-depth for Head magazine. Drugs and sex have both been unbelievably sensationalized during this century. You can always explore the inside of your head for a couple of bucks, and, given the right sexual partner, anyone can be a king or a queen. Since both experiences are extraordinarily personal, you really can’t find out about them until you try them.
