How Pride Made A Better Person
In 2019, different countries are looking for different rules for LGBTQ+ people. Although the struggle for LGBTQ + rights continues, research has found that in 70 countries/regions around the world, “consensual same-sex relationships are still criminalized and punishable by imprisonment, torture and even death”.

What does it mean to be Demisexual?
In fact, I'm certain I'm demisexual, but I have this weird thing where I feel like I can't claim a label unless someone else confirms it, and so far the few people I've shared this notion with have basically just thought I was weird (which I am, but that's beside the point). I write about sex, after all. How can I be demi-sexual if I'm writing about sex all the time?

Nature Vs Nurture Vs Diethylstilbestrol
It all started as a life line; a quest to put something, anything, in order. Perhaps it was survivors guilt or maybe a thinly veiled vanity project. At any rate it started, and soon stopped. I wondered what needed to be said or if anything could be rationalized after all. The narrative had been banging around in my head for as long as I could remember, but recording it was too lofty a project and not really what I had intended. Nor was it within my grasp. I resigned myself to simply organize the disparate voices and find a platform from which to build contentment. Even at this, I imagined, the gods would snicker. And as my hand cramped, I saw how futile the endeavor would be. I put down my crayon.

The Awkward Teenage Years...
Sometimes, when I look back, and I’m sure many people can relate to this, I felt like I was living a double life before I came out as gay. It was quite a while ago, but every now and then, memories will present themselves and I’ll think about how I would’ve handled situations if I had been honest with myself and those around me.

COME OUT, COME OUT, WHATEVER YOU ARE
First, Happy Pride Month everyone. I applaud every single one of you and I love you all. I even love me. I haven’t always loved myself. I was born in the last century, nineteen-fifty to be exact. I am the oldest boy of eight children. I am the only homo in the lot. My six sisters all have children and my brother took care of ensuring the family name would live on. I’m a great uncle to his grand son. As I said, I’m seventy and I live alone.

Why It’s Time For Couples To Get Off Tinder and Leave Bisexual Women Alone
I once wrote a song called Swipe Forever, about what it’s like to date as a bisexual, and it’s been stuck in my head for weeks now, because a) I’m a narcissist who loves their own music b) I’m attempting to date again and once again, I am having the WORST time.

Being A Creator of Positive Change
1. Acknowledging That Systemic Racism & Homophobia Exists: ‘Systemic racism’ is defined as the form of racism that is embedded through laws and regulations within a society, social group/s and or an organisation. When left unchecked, identified and removed, it leads to such issues as discrimination, criminal injustice, illegal & unfair employment practices, abuse of power, mis-information in areas such as education & healthcare among other problems for communities, cities and societies. ‘Homophobia’ can be defined as a very strong and extremely irrational aversion to people who are from the LGBTQi+ Community, who identify as gay/bisexual/queer etc.

Ten LGBT+ Audio Book Recommendations
Audiobooks have been game-changers for my reading life the past three years. I went from reading bed-death - zero books a year, to a modest (but healthy) one a month. I occasionally try skimming through a novel, but most of my reading at the moment is done through Audible.
