Mastering Mind Control
Research into human behavior reveals that first impressions are made incredibly quickly—often within a tenth of a second. These initial judgments are based predominantly on non-verbal cues, such as body language and facial expressions, rather than the spoken word. While it is commonly believed that our verbal communication is crucial, psychologists estimate that only about 7% of communication is conveyed through actual words. The remaining 93% is expressed through non-verbal signals, including gestures, posture, eye contact, and vocal tone. These non-verbal cues provide a more nuanced understanding of an individual’s emotional state, personality, and intentions. This process is closely related to the concept of dark psychology, which involves understanding and manipulating psychological principles to influence and control others. The rapid, subconscious evaluation of these cues can significantly impact our interactions and judgments about others, sometimes exploiting their vulnerabilities through dark psychological tactics.

Re-Introducing Myself
I am a mother of two happy, healthy, and adorable children who happens to also have schizophrenia. I enjoy writing and enjoy to write about motherhood, mental health, religious views, and other random “adulting” subjects here on this blog as well as publishing books on the subject (Whispers of Strength, Whispers of Prayer) and publishing science fiction books: (Time In Space, Return to Space). I hope and pray that I can make a difference in the views of others who seem to agree with all of the articles in a Google search engine that talk about how horrible it is to know or be a schizophrenic – let alone have one be a mother.

Day 11 of My 40 Day Fast: Something Dark Possesses My Brother - Part 3
The first five to seven days of fasting when the body is weak can be rough, and I’m well over that hump. That’s not to say there aren’t rough days during extended or long fasts. Mornings are slow-going and then my energy levels out throughout the day.

Day 9 of My 40 Day Fast: Something Dark Possesses My Brother - Part 2
I am repulsed by water. I reach this phase when I water fast. I’m overcome with such a strong aversion to it. I don’t want to put it into my mouth. After I drink it I feel gross. The irony is not lost on me.

Day 7 of My 40 Day Fast: Something Dark Possesses My Brother - Part 1
I feel better today than the last couple days, but I’m still relying on water for energy. Last night I was nauseated. My stomach felt ill, and my mouth kept watering the way it does when the body is gearing up to barf. I abhor vomiting. It’s one of the worst feelings in life. Luckily the nausea passed by the time I woke up this morning.

Life with Bipolar Disorder, NPD, and PTSD. Content Warning.
Living with Bipolar Disorder (BPD) is an emotional rollercoaster. My moods swing from the dizzying heights of mania to the suffocating depths of depression, often without warning. Adding to this, both my husband Nick and I have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), which brings its own set of challenges. Being married to Nick, who also has Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD), feels like navigating a minefield while blindfolded.
