Feminist activists are not deterred by the daunting statistics so much as they're fueled by them.
Women
The sad truth is that we are taught from an early age as girls to obey and submit, that we are the weaker sex, and that we need to be hyper-aware of how we appear to others, especially boys. This mindset has been taught since Biblical times, but I think it needs to change. We’ve made some progress throughout history, such as the right to vote and the right to own property. Yes, in 1848, women couldn’t even own property.

Save USAID
At first glance, cutting foreign aid might seem like a smart move for a country trying to focus inward. But when we dig deeper, especially into the story of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the picture is far more complex—and far more dangerous. While headlines talk about billions spent overseas, what often goes unnoticed is just how much of that spending directly benefits American industries, American jobs, and yes—American security. The recent budget slashes to USAID, driven by “America First” rhetoric, might be one of the most short-sighted policy moves in recent memory.

Feminist but Feminine: Why Loving Lipstick Doesn’t Make Me Less Woke. AI-Generated.
“You don’t look like a feminist.” The first time someone said that to me, I was 17. I was wearing a vintage blouse, winged eyeliner sharp enough to cut a man’s ego, and patent leather heels that clacked like punctuation marks on the school hallway floor.
