Grabbing Some Sky
My first flight was, well forever ago. Before I was born. At least that’s the way I think of it. But my first real flight took place when I was eleven years old. I guess I should clarify: in my book, a real flight is a flight where you are the pilot. You control the aircraft. Crammed in some tiny excuse for a chair on an airliner with dozens, maybe hundreds of other grumpy passengers who smell of old aftershave and spilled coffee, doesn't count as a real flight. A real flight takes new meaning when you see the ground slipping by, and clouds flow over your wings changing colors with the sun.

Warm River
Warm River is a favorite picnic and tubing place for my family. It’s about an hour and a half from my front door, and people can camp there. Requisite metal picnic tables dot the wide, grassy banks as do willow bushes where raccoons and skunks like to stave off the heat of summer until sundown. (One year when we camped there overnight, a skunk circled our tent for what seemed like the entire night, and at some point he brought friends that tried to scratch their way in. Afraid to venture out, I peed in a red plastic salad bowl.) If you fish, you can catch brook, rainbow, and cutthroat trout in the slow, shallow water. But beware: the name “Warm River” is horribly misleading, as the water never thinks of approaching tepid, even on the lengthiest, most sun-soaked of dog days. Unless you’re hammered or have fortified waders on, you’re going to have to con some kid to wade out to the middle of the frigid water and flip over rocks to scare the fish out. You might want to offer a twenty.

Ibis Wembley
I've stayed at this hotel three times: December 2015, April 2016 and December 2018. There are several hotels around Wembley but I chose Ibis the most as I've stayed in other Ibis hotels and had no issues with them. At the time of booking, it was the cheapest out of the others that were close by.

Coronado Sunset
COVID-19 Pandemic has left a mark around the world. Some are marks of loss or trauma. Others are those of beauty. On this evening - March 24, 2020 - it was definitely a mark of mystical beauty from Mother Nature. Coronado Island was moving at a slow pace and the majority of the beaches were empty do to the newly implemented state stay at home order in California.

Oxford's Covered Market
The Covered Market lies within the heart of Oxford City Centre. It is an indoor market that has made it's place in Oxfordshire History for showcasing local talent and independant stalls. The video on it's website claims over 50 shops do buisness in their premises. I know it has a lot of shops, but I was gobsmacked when I saw this. I didn't expect there to be over 50 places.

Summer in the time of COVID-19
Sandwiched by many pairs of shoulders from every direction, I stood there slack-jawed, squinting heavenward at God’s cloud-like beard. It was my first time at the Sistine Chapel, and in Rome, in general. The air buzzed with an exhilarating collective energy — with whispered conversations and long, drawn-out gasps. The space was overwhelming not only in its infinite grandeur, but also in the exhausting number of upward-gazing visitors that came to see it. This is a place I’d dreamt of seeing for so long, and I’d been waiting breathlessly for this trip after spending the majority of the year juggling numerous freelance gigs to save up for it.

You've Gotta Break The Rules To Get To Heaven
12th February 2017 was undoubtedly one of the most incredible days of my life. In 2017 I was living in Australia. I had seen outrageously cheap flights from Sydney to Hawaii. I’d done a fair bit of solo travelling before, and to be honest I always had mixed feelings about it, sometimes its fun, but if you don’t befriend the right people it can get pretty lonely and you find yourself not doing all that much. This trip was only for a week and a half though so I figured it’d be fine.
