The Colors of Grief. Content Warning.
The first time I learned that someone I knew committed suicide I was ten. I heard my mom talking to one of her friends about a kid who went to the local high school. When I went to school that same morning, the elementary school gym teacher made a point of sitting my class down outside on the basketball court. I don't remember much about the speech except this: "If you are going through anything, know you have me in your corner."

Disability
What you see is someone convulsing on the ground, grunting in pain and gasping for air. Lack of control of limbs and the violence those limbs become. "Is she dead?" they ask as they see the person on the ground, and another consoling them as they continue to struggle. "They can hear you" is the response The Person Who Cares gives. But does that really matter? I mean, even conscious, I was never taken into account. It's only ever been what is seen, never actually knowing beyond the surface.

What's that Azure Light?
What's that Azure Light? Creativity, a etheramal puzzle, a delicate art where people are drawn to discovering each piece. A procedure follows that discovery and it usually takes a few moments to fly the puzzle piece in your hands to the perfect place. Hands crippled in quivering excitement, moments pressed to death as I dangled from a cliff, the lifeline was a scientifically tested rope, said to be able to hold two tons of metal. It felt like it could hardly hold two pounds.
