The Everlasting Two Minutes
This is my initial entry for The Vocal+ Fiction Awards . The queue for the bus at the Galleries was long , but it was the only bus I could get back home with. It was eight miles so walking wasn’t an option and I don’t drive now.

The Music of The Glacier
Falling Into Sigur Rós I once heard the music of Sigur Rós described as glacial, but in a very positive way. The band hail from Reykjavík, Iceland so that is probably not an unexpected description. All their songs are sung entirely in the constructed language Hopelandic (or Vonlenska in Icelandic)., but sound absolutely beautiful.

Alt Pandora's Box
According to Hesiod, when Prometheus stole fire from heaven, Zeus, the king of the gods, took vengeance by presenting Pandora to Prometheus' brother Epimetheus. Pandora opened a jar left in her care containing sickness, death and many other unspecified evils which were then released into the world, but what if Pandora’s Box or Jar contained nothing but good things. I know hope was there at the bottom, but I feel that often humanity looks for the worst things.

Once Were Dragons
This is for the Vocal Fantasy Prologue Challenge and here we go... Once Were Dragons There weren't always dragons in the Valley. When they came we were frightened, but they became our friends and protectors. We don't know where they came from, some said deep in the earth, others from the Far South or North or the Burning Desert. Now though they were turned to stone and breathed fire no more.
