Climate Change and a New Conspiracy Theory
What facts are indisputable, if not widely known, about climate change? Climate change has been happening since planet Earth was first formed. Geologists, historians and archaeologists, can show that at various times, areas that are now deserts were under the sea. They know that at times in history, ice has covered far more of the land mass than is covered now. They know that at other periods the ice receded further than it is now.

Image and Truth
Image and truth. Do political distortions win elections? There is a very old fable; about truth going about the world naked and unadorned; and was shunned by all. Yet parable went about in fine clothes and with misleading words and everyone loved them. So the idea that image is more popular than truth is a very old one. The Politics of Climate Change
The big topic, especially in the media and the “Guardianista chattering classes,” is climate change and how all those wicked people are destroying the planet. It should be noticed that it is always other people, who are doing the assumed damage to planet earth. Climate change conferences are organised at resorts around the world. Thousands of delegates fly to them and stay in luxury accommodation, while castigating the ordinary people, because they drive cars or turn their heating on. Tons of paper and mega kilowatts of electricity are consumed by demands that we stop climate change, it is always claimed that is can be done by stopping people living their normal life.

Is Socialism the Way Forward?
Is socialism the way forward? Will a socialist government really make life better for the majority? I see so many posts on Facebook, from intelligent serious and well intentioned people, that claim Mr. Corbyn will be a better leader of the government for the people of Britain than Mrs May. They claim he is more compassionate, more in touch with the needs and feelings of people. They claim he would make life better for the majority of the people. The slogan is for the many not the few.

The Rise of Right Wing Political Parties in the 21st Century
I often see on TV and media “experts” expressing surprise at the increasing support for right wing political parties all over Europe. Why surprised? If the experts are knowledgeable and actually think about the effect that the policies of present EU government—and for that matter previous administration in USA—have, they should not be surprised.

What Is the Best Way a Democracy Can Provide the Nation's Needs?
What is the best way a democracy can provide the nation's needs? How do we get the best out of democracy? The basic requirements that any government should provide for its indigenous people are: security (homeland, civil, and military), housing, education, health care, infrastructure both physical and electronic, and welfare for those in need. We should also add purpose and the opportunity to fulfill ambition.
