The Year was 1970
The year was 1970. I would be sixteen that June. I find that to fully understand the world as it today in 2025, one must go back to that particular year first. So, I hope you will indulge my urgings to watch this "flashback" to get a glimpse into what life felt like from the perspective of a teenager (who didn't have instant access to information from either a cell phone or computer and had to rely on newspapers, libraries, and only three networks of television News: ABC, CBS, & NBC.)

Retired Colors. Top Story - February 2025.
I just ran across this news article about how Crayola was officially bringing back some "retired" crayons? Some thoughts immediately crossed my mind, like, "Really? Can crayons actually become retired?" "Did kids not like these colors?" "How did Crayola know this? Had pre-K teachers across the globe been consulted?" "Did being retired mean that nobody liked them anymore and they were no longer useful?"

I don't believe that "things" keep popping up for no good reason. Ok, so stop and re-read that, please. Have you ever experienced a thread of uncommon shockers occur when you are just browsing through normal life activities, like searching for a good movie or documentary to watch, or breezing through local/nationwide news articles that catch your eye or interest?
