That’s right, McCartney had seen Jimi Hendrix’s band in England and was highly impressed with the trio. Originally, the music festival wanted the Beatles to play in it, but the English giants had already finished a tour and could not make it. So, McCartney came up with a great idea.

Upon the arrival of 2019, I had only two concerts booked for the year and I was certain that was (devastatingly) going to be the lot. However, on the back end of 2019, I have attended seventeen. Averaging at about £330, without the cost of merchandise at the venues. Yikes.
