Save The Chubby Unicorns
Over the years I've heard more and more about how the pollution on this planet has gotten out of control. You see recycle bins popping up near everywhere next to trash cans. Businesses and schools proudly claim to be "going green" and I've been left to ask myself how I can help. What is it I can do?

There is no 2.0 Earth!
Reduce, Reuse and Save Money! Everyone knows about reducing their single use plastic items, just like they know to wash and reuse them if they are still in good condition. This is especially true for plastic bags from stores and plastic silverware. I usually reuse my grocery bags as thrash can bags if there is no hole in the bottom. The Body Connection
I didn’t start off my life being a good steward towards the earth. My family did I suppose, the bare minimum, in part due to the education on recycling we received in elementary school. It Starts with a Trickle
When you think about it, every revolution in human history started with a trickle, a small group of humans pushing for change. As the trickle moved downstream it gathered volume and momentum, followers, and the push for change intensified until it became a wave that the most obstinate could not stand against. Self-Sufficiency
When I was young, my sisters and I spent the majority of our time outside. My momma had a small farm consisting of chickens, ducks, horses, and a number of rescue dogs and cats. She also kept up a garden every year. She passed down the care of chickens for food, and canning, and chopping wood for the winter. I learned a lot from her, and continue her legacy for self-sufficient living. I believe this is the key to saving our planet from carbon waste.
