It’s Not Over…
In the beginning, growing up Monique always felt different from her family and the world around her. She was a curious youngling whom would keep her eyes in the sky and wonder what was out there. Yearning for more in life, while feeling out of place. Young enough to know she couldn’t fly on her own, but wise enough to know that there were endless possibilities to life and what could become of her. Monique often wondered why she chose to ascend from her stardust-self to an earthly being and select the family she channeled into, given the dis-functionality and historical trauma she would inevitably need to overcome.

When You Can't Keep Your Thoughts to Yourself
I’m about to say it out loud. All the thoughts I've been thinking concerning two global issues bugging me. Maybe someone else ‘outed’ their thoughts in another forum, another corner of the world. Chatted about it in a quaint café to an enrapt listener. Presented a PowerPoint to infuse community activism.

Unremarkably Human
Remarkable. When most people hear or read the word remarkable their minds tend to wander to extremes. Even now, writing this, I started thinking of the most remarkable things to write or state. It was almost as though a latent narcissistic, social media driven culture had swept over me and made me want to write down something soo extreme and exciting or invigorating that I could have something that others may view as "remarkable”.

Reflections in the Water
Author's note: all links are underlined. It was a dreary day in September when Captain Billy Tyne and crew set off on what would ultimately be their final journey as sword fishermen. The crew of the longliner, the Andrea Gail, owned by Bob Brown, a notorious and evident taskmaster of a captain, had spent many years in an industry which was the lifeblood of the coastal town of Gloucester, Massachusetts, the oldest fishing port in America with a long history and many tales to tell.

The Knower, The Thinker and The Believer
A human being creates an image of himself/herself that is coming from his/her sense of Self-Importance. The Knower is the sort of man whose self-importance comes from an inner experience and from the inner knowing that he is a human being. He knows he is a form birthed already with its own shape and attributes. He knows from inner experience that he is a human being who took its root in this planet due to ancestral and evolutionary time.

Consciousness
When we find ourselves in the Spiritual path, we get to a place where we are aware, present and continuously evolving and it is then natural to come to the stage of consciousness. The most incredible, infallible and exciting stage to reach and to act from is the conscious stage. From consciousness we can build a life full of joy, pleasantness, wellbeing and pure love for our lives. Then, the question comes: What is Consciousness? And, this is how I live it and how I understand its meaning.
