Hybrid animals

Beefalo are the result of domestic cattle crossed with bison. They are hardy animals that produce leaner, healthier meat. Beefalo have become resilient creatures able to thrive in harsh conditions where regular cattle would struggle. They require less water and feed and resist disease better.

Camas result from the coming together of camels and llamas. Scientists create this breed using artificial insemination, giving them the strength of camels but the gentle temperament of llamas. They are taller than llamas but shorter than camels, with short ears and fluffy coats. They were created to produce an animal with valuable camel wool.

Coywolves are a genetic mix that blends the stealth of coyotes with the strength of wolves. These animals are well suited for the northeastern forests and suburbs of America. They are larger than coyotes but smaller than wolves and tend to hunt in packs or alone. This mix of the two makes them have a diverse diet and great adaptability to human-altered landscapes. Coywolves will dine on fruits and vegetables, insects and carrion, and smaller mammals.

Geeps are the incredible union between sheep and goats. They are woolly oddities with goat-like legs and faces and partial sheep wool.

Jaglions are the amazing product of jaguars and lions. (pictured above) They are the offspring of a jaguar and a lion. Male jaglions inherit the jaguar’s rosette patterns overlaid with the lion’s tawny coloration. Females display an even more striking appearance—they can develop partial manes, a feature typically reserved for male lions. Their build is robust, with muscle definition indicative of both the lion’s strength and the jaguar’s agility.

Incredible ligers are twice the size of normal lions and can weigh over 990 pounds. They are the result of male lions and female tigers mating to create the largest cats on Earth. These animals have tiger-like stripes and lion-like manes. They enjoy the usual tiger trait of swimming and are social just like lions. Unlike other hybrids, female ligers can reproduce. Ligers primarily eat meat, reflecting their status as obligate carnivores. Their diet is similar to that of their parent species, lions and tigers.

Mules have the strength and size of horses and the endurance of donkeys. These are intelligent hybrids that have carried soldiers into battle and pioneers across mountains. These animals are always sterile with exceptional longevity and resistance to disease. They have become invaluable working animals.

Narlugas are hidden in the icy waters of the Arctic. They are the offspring of narwhals and beluga whales. A narluga is a hybrid born from mating a female narwhal and a male beluga whale. Narwhals and beluga whales are both cetaceans found in the High Arctic. They look like a mix of both narwhal and beluga skulls. They have a narwhal tail, beluga pectoral fins, and gray body coloration.

Pizzlies, also known as grolars, are a hybrid of polar bears. Polar bears tend to wind up more south due to warming temperatures and have wound up meeting up with grizzly bears in the north. These bears have then mated in overlapping territories, producing amazing rare bears that can be seen more often now in Alaska and in the northern regions of Canada. They have cream-colored fur with the hump of a grizzly and brown patches. Pizzly bears are generally smaller than polar bears but larger than grizzlies.

Unbelievable Savannah cats are the result of the crossing of African servals and domestic cats. They are lovely spotted creatures that can leap 8 feet high from a standing position. These cats are curious and highly active and enjoy water, with striking spotted coats, slender bodies, and oversized ears giving them an exotic look.

Wholphins are the rarest blend in the ocean. If you can imagine a dolphin that is bigger, darker, and has fewer teeth. These are the offspring of false killer whales and bottlenose dolphins. There are only a handful of such creatures documented. They have sleek gunmetal gray bodies. They primarily eat fish, squid, and crustaceans. Wholphins combine traits from both parent species, exhibiting unique physical features. They are typically found in warm temperate and tropical waters, where both parent species coexist.

Zebroids are amazing equines that are a result of crossing zebras with horses or donkeys. These animals can be trained for riding or pulling carts. Each individual has a unique pattern, with some having bold stripes on their legs and faces and others with faint shadowy markings all across their bodies.
