Anger
Anger is our most energetic emotion. You can fuel yourself with anger to accomplish most of anything in the world. It comes at a price though. The hormones that increase with your anger will wreak total havoc on your body, system by system. I have found most of us get angry when we are disrespected, disobeyed, or betrayed. For each of us, it is a different scenario, but the results are the exact same. Our bodies were not meant to be fueled by anger, and this is the destruction that comes along with holding on to the hurt.

How to Be Your Body's Friend
I had already gone through eight days of fasting when I saw him. I was sitting in my car and noticed a man heading across the parking lot. He wore a fitted hat, gray hoodie, and baggy pants. I watched curiously as he paused to spit in different places on the street. When he walked next to my car, he started to vomit. It was a violent scene but also very controlled. Once he finished hurling in front of the car, he picked himself up and walked away. An onlooker would have been none the wiser as he disappeared into a nearby McDonald's. I watched in disbelief as he calmly entered the fast food store. Throughout the whole ordeal, he never once seemed to panic or call for help. It was as though this occurrence was just like any other day.

I know from personal experience that finding the mattress that gives you the perfect night’s sleep can be a foreboding task. As I was searching for a new bed, I was intimidated by the prospect of choosing from hundreds of different mattresses. Each one promised to give me the best shut-eye I’ve ever had and I wasn’t sure what was actually going to make a difference in my sleep.
