The Bus Token
In March of 2000, I worked in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for a non-profit organization National School and Community Corps NSCC. While working for NSCC I was also trained as a VISTA Volunteer In Service To America literacy specialist. As a VISTA I was asked to attend 2-day literacy training in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I was enthusiastic and excited, to say the least, to get the opportunity to visit the Pennsylvania State Capital. The trip accomodations were already paid for transportation, lodging, and food by the VISTA state office. All I needed to do was show up at the 30th street Amtrak train station on the day of departure and meet with my team leader and fellow VISTA volunteers. I can not remember exactly what day that was but I arrived there on time with two luggage bags ready for travel. The train ride to Harrisburg was smooth, quiet, and uneventful. We rolled into Harrisburg, gathered our luggage and a van was waiting for us to take us to the Holiday Inn hotel where we would be staying for the next two days.

The High Price Of Black Success.
There are so few Black people that make it out of the hood and actually become successful or famous to any degree. Usually whenever there is a person that does make it, there is sometimes an unspoken burden that some people feel based on a sense of loyalty to their inner circle; the people who supported the rising star when they were unknown to the larger world. The person who "made it" sometimes mistakenly feels that because a partner was with them when they were unknown, they are a "real one" and can be trusted to go with the them into the life of celebrity or success. Some of them feel that the friends they had from a young age are their "true" friends and would never take advantage of or use them. And of course, where would any of us be without our family? The people who knew us before anyone knew us. These three types of relationships truly get tested whenever a person who has these types of people in their circle becomes substantively successful.

Various Kinds of Entrepreneurs in Working Fields
The word Entrepreneur proposes a person who has seen a need and has an innovative business thought to compensate for that need. Business visionaries are troubled to foresee the various risks of executing their idea and see the aspect of the top of their alliance or alliance. They see full commitment concerning the execution, accomplishment, or confusion of the business. Guaranteed thankfulness may relate to being a touch of breathing space director with inventive and creative contemplations for online use, and with someone who can use the power of the web to fill a quality.

People with Issues
Since I have graduated from high school, I have noticed some changes in some of the people I went to school with. Some of the people graduated before me, with me, and after me. I understand that after every graduation, every student will go there own separate ways in life. When I see people out and about, and I remember them from when I was growing up I'm going to speak . It's in my blood to speak to people, not to walk around with my head up and think I'm better than people, just because we are out of high school. It's looks like if I role up on some of the people I remember from my younger days, they seem to have a problem with me. They act really rude towards me. They act like the problem they are having since, they been out of high school, are all my fault, or they may think I may have caused some problem while we were in high school, and that is the reason for their problem. I'm going to be real with ya, as a young boy, I had to over come a lot of sickness, and I had to under go a lot of surgies. Therefore, when I was able to return to school, the Ashdown, Junior high school, welcome me back with open arms. Through all my sickness they was able to send all my school work to the hospital, where I was so I wouldn't fall behind. So the teacher's at Ashdown, Junior high school, stayed in contact with the teacher's at Children's Hospital in Little Rock, AR. All they sent was my math and English. I remember asking my mom and the teacher there at Children's Hospital, why don't they send my other subjects like my science and history. My mom told me that math and English was my base subjects. She said I needed them in order to past. So when I return to the seventh grade, the only classes I had to take was my history and science. There was a lot of parents wondering why they didn't throw me in special education, I guess because the number of classes they had me taking, or because alot of my classmates used to help me to my classes because my balance at the time was not good. The teacher's would let me leave class fifteen minutes early, before it was over because they thought I would fall down, while changing classes with other students. From the time I made it back to Junior high school, in the 7th grade up until now in adult life, I have accomplished done a lot in my life. I was shocked that when I made it back to school, to see that alot of the students was not doing to good at all in their school work, or in their everyday life outside school. Some of them got held back in the same grade due to lack of performance in the classroom. In Junior High and high school, there was two students, who brought guns to school. There was a young man who brought drugs to school. Some of the young girls started in the 7th grade getting pregnant. Some girls have a full scholarship, waiting on them when time for graduation, but let a no good as boy say the words I love you. Then the girls will just put her dreams on hold, and forget all about the scholarship. The same thing with the young men. The older generation turns the younger generation to drugs, crime and violence. Other than trying to convince them to further their education. There was a mother who hated the fact that another young lady, was name valentine of her high school class and not her daughter. When this same lady's son was about to graduate, this mother went around town talking about the students, that was not going to be graduating making fun of them. But she didn't say one time about her son was one of the ones that would not be graduating. When this woman daughter, went to college, with the same young lady, who got the Valentine in high school. The mother had no idea that her daughter, was not given it her all. Therefore her daughter was wasting her money that her gave her. Giving her money to men, and letting them use off her mother's shopping card. Then she ended up getting evicted from her apartment. She tried keeping the news from her mother's. She ended up moving in with the young lady, her mother couldn't stand in High chool who was Valentine. The whole time she was a freeloader on Ms.Valentive. Unitl one day Ms. Valentine's, went to her trash can in the kitchen, and found all the job applications, that she had gotten for her friend all ripped up in the trash.

Frustrations In The Life Of A Writer
There are so many wasted hours, that pass so slowly, when the job you do, is not the job you want to do. It steals the day, sometimes even the evening as well. Doing something you hate, diminishes your energy and therefore your dreams.

Here's To You
Here's to those of us who work not one but multiple jobs to make ends meet. We're not mad at it, it's what we have to do to well..... Live. Those of us who work a decent day job, but still have a gig job driving people to their destinations safely or simply deliver our food when we're just too tired or frankly lazy to cook today.

POTENTIAL
Hey guys! I decided to do a blog🖥️✍🏾🖊️ on "Potential" this time because it’s crazy how many of us have this “power” 💪🏾💡(and I say power because it’s something we hardly use that is very useful )that we don’t use and rarely think about sometimes. I do not know about y’all but sometimes I do ask myself do I even have potential? 🧐🤔And how come I don’t see it in myself or use it?🤔🤔🧐 And I’m not going to lie because half the time I’m lazy and don’t want to push myself but in times like these, it’s crazy because I’m using every piece of it.😂😆 Growing up for me, starting in middle school I was told that I have the potential I just have to use it. I always thought it was just something teachers say but it followed me all the way to high school because teachers were saying the same thing there too.😮😲 It was weird, I flew through high school not paying attention to that but kept it close to me all these years.😯😱 I realized my potential, when I realized I wanted to own my own business and the thoughts 💭💭and ideas that popped up where endless. 💲🤝📊🏢

Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing
Being genuine, true and real is of unbelievable value in this world filled with “fake news”, misleading advertising and outright fraud. It seems to me the world would be a much better place if people stuck to the truth even if it is painful. Think about the impact it would have on relationships; whether at work, school, socially or in the family situations if people could count on each other to be honest and forthright in all of their dealings. Something as simple as the perpetual question of whether or not an outfit “makes me look fat” or “Do you think I’m qualified for this job?” or “What do you think of this piece of art I made?” Being frank may not spare someone’s feelings, but consider perhaps that we have gone too far away from the truth in a misguided attempt to comfort each other or “cushion the blow” of reality. What would really happen if everyone was just honest.
