Just like that.
"Then we're through," she said.
Just like that.
No discussion.
No deliberation.
No reflection.
No reconsideration.
Indifference had been brewing.
Detachment was the norm.
The decision was mutual,
On that they were united.
Years of marriage were over.
Just like that.

It's a shame that so many marriages end this way.

Why discuss what was obvious. This way no drama. I am sure they will have pain in the process of break up.
