A love poem in 50 words
It’s an art, you know.
Could be a simple hello.
Or calling the one, who,
is the toughest of us all.
Or the voice, as you’re held tight–
Promising that, if everyone died,
you’d still be alright.
Keeper of the fire;
Keeping your warm heart alight.
Your lovely, warm heart.

Three Seconds
I saw your face three seconds on the screen and thought you must have made a mistake. People like that don’t look for me. But I clicked yes. Out of curiosity. And out of some silent hope I had carried within me for years. We talked for a long time. As if we already knew each other. As if distance has no real measure when two people listen to one another. I didn’t see you, but I felt you. And that was enough while for others it was nothing.

A geographical map could take you there. To the places I've been, to the sights I've seen, to the landscapes I've climbed. But no compass could point you in the direction of my memories. To the experiences I've lived, to the happiness I've felt, to the wonder I've held so close to my heart.
