Hourglass Figure: How to Dress Best
Pants and jeans Since the hourglass figure is the most desired, almost any pair of pants or jeans will look good on you. However, certain designs will accentuate your waist and your behind. High-waisted skinny fit is maybe the most flattering one. When you wear them with heels, they will make your legs look longer, and they will sit perfectly on your hips and waist. Even the straight leg cut or flared pants will look flattering on your body shape. Choose stretchy denim for more comfortable daily wear, and try firm ones on special occasions. As far as the pants go, loose, airy pants may be the easiest to find, and they are super cozy. High waisted is again the best design. If you want to add an extra emphasis on your behind, choose jeans and pants with bigger pockets with details on them.

A Letter From the Editor’s Closet
I believe a wardrobe is a work of art—a personal reflection of the person wearing it. It tells a story unique to you. I treat my wardrobe like my canvas. Every time I add a new piece, or take a piece away, it is all based on my mood—what I am enjoying, aesthetically. My inspiration tends to come from art. Pieces from the 70s, such as Henri Matisse’s, all the way up to current pieces, such as ones from Italian artist, Piero Pizzi Cannella. When I say these artists inspire me, I am referencing their color palettes. Most of my wardrobe is neutral in color—deep browns, ivories and black. While that does not really set me apart from what is “trending” now, what sets me apart is the feeling I get when I am wearing my pieces.
