Peyote is the Original American Trip
Peyote, known botanically as Lophophora Williamaii, is the great American high. For the past almost 5,500 years, Native American tribes of the Plains such as the Navajo, Comanche, Sioux and Kiowa, have used the spineless, tufted, blue-green, button-shaped cactus as the centerpiece of enhancing their religious rituals. It is known for its psychoactive properties when ingested.

Hash Cafes of Cairo
Cairo, the violent sun can broil the brains of a field worker or tourist, but there is soothing relief in the secret shadows of Cairo's famous hash cafes. Magic Mushrooms of Hawaii
Hawaii, fabled land of Paradise, where exotic fruit can be picked all year 'round and the weed is so sticky that you can't roll a joint with it. When Ed Rosenthal went there one March, he expected to see the small but well developed buds of the winter crop. But his friends on the island of Maui were actually smoking Colombia and were happy to see his homegrown. (Not everybody grows in Hawaii). Outdoors, cannabis must be planted in remote areas or it will be stolen). Rather what Ed found were the magic mushrooms of Hawaii. Ed Rosenthal, noted horticulturist and marijuana advocate spent the 80s and 90s writing for High Times magazine and devoted his work to the legalization and growing of marijuana and studying other various drugs.

President Obama and the First Stoner Family
One of the biggest stories of the past few weeks, apart from the Olympics and Donald Trump, has been the revelation of the Obama children being caught smoking marijuana. In a country where pot smoking is a decisive issue, having a child of the First Family smoking pot can be a serious issue for some. The question is though, is the Obama Family the first to start smoking marijuana in the White House? With pot use something that has been done for decades, isn’t it possible that another presidential family member smoked pot before Obama and his family?

Famous Celebrities Who Smoke Weed
"Celebrities, they're just like us!” might be a cliche, but it is also true. Nothing connects celebrities to the common man more than smoking weed. Sure, smoking marijuana goes along with the "Hollywood" party lifestyle, but recently celebrities have come out in support of the herbs medical benefits, in addition to its recreational uses. With uptick in popularity of legalization, it’s not surprising that famous celebrities who smoke weed are no longer hiding their affection for the drug, but instead proclaiming it proudly.
