May 1st 1994. I know the date for its significance but that will become clear later on. This is one of my first lasting childhood memories. I was 5. And yes, that is pretty late for a person to claim one of his first lasting impressions. But my memory has never been that strong and I never did remember much about my earliest childhood years.
